Printing the components

These instructions show you how to print the parts and the printed tools for the OpenFlexure Delta Stage. You don't need to print all the files. Follow the steps below to find the right files for your configuration.

Main body

There are different options for the main body, depending on what type of illumination you want to use.

  1. If you want to use your own illumination, or just want the stage, you will need to print the delta stage.
  2. If you want to use the OpenFlexure's condenser illumination, for transmission illumination, you will need to print the transmission delta stage.
  3. If you want to use the OpenFlexure's reflection illumination, for example for fluorescence, you will need to print the reflection delta stage.
  4. If you want to use both transmission and reflection illumination, you will need to print transmission and reflection delta stage.

Actuators

To control the movement of the stage, you will need to print:

  1. The three feet.
  2. The three gears.

Printed tools

To assist with the fiddlier parts, you will need to print out these tools:

  1. The band tool.
  2. The nut tool.

Sample clips

To secure a microscope slide to the stage, you will need to print:

  1. The two sample clips.

Motors

To connect the motors to the stage, you will need to print:

  1. The three small gears.

Base

To store the any electronic components, or just to help keep the microscope steady, you will need to print:

  1. The simple base.

  1. The Raspberry Pi & Sangaboard base
